Digitals By Darrel Darrel Sodren a local versatile photographer with views of the skyline of Minneapolis to wonderful shots of nature and landscapes. Featured are many subjects that will appeal to all lovers of photography. Darrel's work has been featured in many places in the Camden area and all works are available in card form too. A closing reception will feature the artist and refreshments August 31, 2007 5pm to 9pm. If you find you cannot attend the reception you are welcome to stop by during gallery hours until September 5th to view these excellent photos.
August 18 , 2007 The Warren is hosting a small art fair in conjunction with Might Stitch's 6th Anniversary. This event will also commemorate the 1st Anniversary of The Warren. In the parking lot you will be able to enjoy art created by local artists and enjoy music provided by Irie Sol, a funk/raggae band from Eau Claire WI. This event is free and there will be specials by The Warren, Mighty Stitch and other businesses as well. Refreshements and snacks will be served. August 25, 2007 Trying to decide how to cool off this summer? Er... Well, except for the last few days... We have your answer. Attend "America:aciremA" for a giant slice of hilarity pie with a large, cold scoop of satire on the side. Served with a strong cup of reality coffee - which may burn a little. The show takes you on an energetic romp through the muck and mire of American culture. "America:aciremA" is a satirical critique of the problems that have always faced America, including issues of race, gender, homosexuality, power equality and the means necessary to change our situations for the better. After touring to fringe festivals and The Bryant Lake Bowl Theatre Stage, the show returns home for a one-night only engagement. The show will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25 at the Warren on the Workhouse Theatre Stage, 4400 Osseo Rd., in Minneapolis. The house opens for seating at 7 p.m. Tickets are $7 and are available at the door. Rating: Mature Content(Adult Language, Violence, Sexual Content, Awkward Topics) The cast of "America:aciremA" features Avery, Leffler-McCabe and Mattson. was a great success. Over 300 people came to see the show with many more just stopping by and seeing the new space. This season has seen a lot of changes for the company and theatre on the northside and we just wanted to highlight a few of them.
